Academic Overview
Through an extensive curriculum of on-campus as well as clubs, and student organizations, High School students at Colegio Americano de Torreon will have diverse opportunities to explore, grow, and learn.
All of our High School students follow program requirements for both the Secretaria de Educacion Publica (SEP) guidelines, as well as United States’ curriculum standards, to obtain both their Bachillerato certificate and High School diploma.
Our academic offering includes:
- Advanced Placement: These courses offer college credit upon successful completion of a final exam.
- Bachillerato SEP: This is the main program that offers students validation of coursework for entry into public and private Mexican universities.
At CAT, we are very proud of our High School division and its track record. We have the highest international university acceptance rate of students in the region. Our graduates have great opportunities to explore the world and have access to some of the greatest institutions in the world.
